Introduction To Scarves

Scarves also known as mufflers are versatile fabrics worn around the neck, head, shoulders, or waist for fashion, religious, cultural, or other practical purposes.

One of the first origins of the scarf were called sudariums or “sweat cloths” used in Ancient Rome to sponge perspiration off the face.

In Ancient China, historians believed that scarves were used to distinguish warrior ranks.

During the 17th century, scarves were worn by Croatian soldiers of all titles.

These scarves were referred to as cravats, the pioneer of neckties.

By the early 19th century the scarf was a fashion sensation for all age and orientation.

Encompassed with its rich history and infused in popular culture, the scarf is worn by countless celebrities and continue to prevail as a wardrobe essential. We celebrate the neck-wear with our collection of contemporary and traditional scarves.
